Your most common question

Is this legal? Yes, and you stay in control the whole way.

The first thing most people ask is whether carrying items for someone could get them in trouble. It is a fair question, and it is exactly why Cendiago works the way it does. The worry comes from picturing a sealed package handed over by a stranger. That is the opposite of how this works.

You pack your own bag

Nothing arrives sealed. You open, inspect, and pack every item yourself before you accept it, so you are never carrying something you have not personally seen.

You know who you carry for

Every sender passes an ID check before they can request you. No anonymous strangers.

Everything is screened first

Each item is customs-checked and photo-analysed before it reaches you. Anything prohibited is blocked and never shown to you.

You can decline anything

No reason needed, no penalty, no impact on your rating. If a sender will not let you inspect an item, you simply pass.

Carry only what you have seen and can honestly describe, and at the border you are in the same position as anyone travelling with their own belongings: you answer truthfully, because you packed the bag yourself.

This is general information, not legal advice, and rules vary by country.

Built for trust

How Cendiago works for travelers

Privacy protected

Senders see your first name, verified badges, and an AI-generated analysis of your listing, not your flight number, departure time, ticket, or contact details. Your travel information stays completely private.

Flight verified badge

Upload your ticket and we cross-check it against live aviation data. Connecting flight? We detect every leg on the ticket so you can list each one as a separate trip. Verified trips get more sender confidence, and more bookings.

Prescreening

Every request is customs-checked and photo-analysed before it reaches your dashboard. Blocked items never appear to you. For the rest, you see the full screening result before deciding.

Payment protection

Funds are held from the moment a sender books you, and release to you automatically 48 hours after the item is marked delivered, or sooner if the sender confirms. Payment stays held while a dispute is open, is refunded to the sender if the booking is cancelled, and does not release if the delivery never completes, for example an item held at customs. Cendiago charges travelers no fees.

Before you accept a booking

How to travel with confidence

On Cendiago you inspect every item and pack your own bag, so you always know exactly what you're carrying. A few simple habits keep every trip smooth and transparent, here's what to know before your first delivery.

1

Inspect and pack every item yourself

At handover you open and inspect every item, then pack the ones you're comfortable with into your own luggage. Nothing goes in your bag that you haven't personally seen and checked, so you always know exactly what you're carrying.

2

Be open with customs

If you're delivering items for a sender, just tell customs and describe them accurately. In most countries, declaring goods you carry for someone else is expected, and it's easy, because you packed everything yourself. When in doubt, declare.

3

You packed your bag, so answer with confidence

Because you inspected and packed every item, you can answer any border question truthfully and calmly. You've seen everything in your bag, so you can describe it accurately.

4

Decline anything that feels off

You can turn down any booking at any time. No reason needed, no penalty, no impact on your rating. Pressure to skip the inspection, unusually high offers, or vague item descriptions are signs to pass. Trust your instincts. Declining costs you nothing, and even after you've accepted and been paid, refusing an item at handoff automatically refunds the sender in full, at no cost or penalty to you.

Good to know: Our AI screens every request for prohibited or misdeclared items before it reaches you. It is a helpful filter, not a legal guarantee. Because you inspect and pack each item yourself, you're always the one who decides what goes in your bag. If anything ever feels off, just decline. You never have to explain why.

Common questions

Everything you need to know

What do senders see about my trip?
Senders see your first name, verified badges, route, available space, rate, accepted categories, and the drop-off location you set when listing. Your flight number, departure time, ticket image, full name, and contact details are never shown. Senders see a meeting point, not your flight, so your travel details stay completely private.
How does ticket verification work?
You upload a photo or PDF of your ticket or e-ticket. Our AI reads the passenger name and every flight leg on the ticket, so if your itinerary has a stopover, it shows you every possible route segment (for example, YYZ→DXB, DXB→KHI, and YYZ→KHI) and you choose the one you're listing on Cendiago. Each leg can be listed as a separate trip. The chosen leg is then cross-checked against live aviation data to confirm the flight is real and upcoming. Your name is matched against your verified profile, the whole process takes seconds. Your ticket and flight details are never shared with senders.
How does Cendiago screen requests before they reach me?
Before any booking request appears on your dashboard, it passes through two automated AI checks. First, a customs check: the item description, declared value, and categories are reviewed against the import and export rules of your specific corridor. Toronto to Lagos has different restrictions than London to Karachi. Second, a photo analysis: any images the sender uploaded are reviewed for prohibited or suspicious contents. Each check returns one of three results: checked, flagged, or blocked. Blocked requests are removed entirely and never shown to you. For requests that reach you, you see the full result, including the status, any flags raised, and the AI's notes, on the request card before you decide to accept or decline. Screening is a filter, not a guarantee. You are always the final check.
What is the AI Trust Analysis and how do I strengthen mine?
Senders can tap AI on any search result to see an AI-generated breakdown of your listing, what's working in your favour, what might give senders pause, and suggested steps before booking. The AI weighs your ID verification, flight ticket upload, average rating, and delivery history. The fastest ways to strengthen your analysis: complete ID verification, upload your flight ticket, and build reviews through completed deliveries. A stronger profile earns more sender confidence, and more bookings.
Am I responsible at customs for items I carry?
You're the person carrying your bag, so you're accountable for what's in it, and that's exactly why Cendiago works the way it does. You inspect every item and pack it into your own luggage yourself, so you always know what you're carrying and can be completely transparent at the border. Before accepting any booking you'll read a short customs-awareness note, it takes seconds and keeps every trip smooth. If a sender ever won't let you inspect an item, simply don't accept it.
What if a sender hides something illegal inside an item?
Customs holds the person carrying the item responsible. No platform can change that. This is why you open, inspect, and pack every item yourself. You are the final inspection. Refuse anything you cannot verify: sealed or wrapped items you cannot open, items heavier than they look, or evasive senders. No penalty, no rating impact. If an item is ever seized, we cooperate fully with law enforcement and provide the complete record: the sender's verified identity, their item description, the uploaded photos, and all messages and payments. Cendiago cannot provide legal representation or indemnify a traveler against a criminal charge.
What do I tell a border officer about a Cendiago delivery?
Just be open. Tell the officer you're delivering items for a sender through the Cendiago peer-to-peer platform, describe them accurately, and state their value, you can show the booking right in the app. Because you inspected and packed everything yourself, this is easy and honest. Border officers handle peer-to-peer deliveries routinely, and transparency always produces the best outcome. The one rule: never hide or misdescribe anything. Cendiago can also provide booking documentation on official request.
Should I inspect items before accepting?
Yes, always, and it's central to how Cendiago works. You open and inspect every item, then pack the ones you're happy with into your own luggage yourself. Senders are required by our Terms of Service to present items for inspection at handover. If a sender won't let you inspect, don't accept. Contact our support team and it won't count against your account.
Can I set my own rate per kg?
Yes. When you list a trip you set your own rate per kg. We suggest a typical rate for your route to help you price competitively, but you're always in control of what you charge.
What happens if a sender doesn't confirm delivery?
If a sender doesn't confirm within 48 hours of delivery, the booking is automatically confirmed and your earnings are credited to your Cendiago wallet. Withdraw to your bank whenever you're ready, you're never left waiting.
What's Cendiago's fee?
Cendiago charges the sender a 12% platform fee plus a small buyer protection fee that funds delivery protection. None of it comes from you. Your rate is what you set, and that's exactly what you receive. There are no fees on your side.
Can I edit or cancel a trip after listing it?
Yes. You can edit your available space, rate, accepted categories and notes at any time from your traveler dashboard. If you need to cancel, you can do so before any bookings are accepted, or mark the trip cancelled if a booking is already in progress.
